The Legend of Hector Stout-Heart Book 1
How could a weak, cowardly, and forgotten prince possibly save the life of his brother, and ultimately save the world from evil annihilation?
Hector Stout-Heart is the “acorn that fell far from the oak.”
Not living up to the legendary Stout-Heart name, the young prince is small and thin, with a “malformed” hand and half-arm stump. He is nothing like Aaric, his strong, handsome, and heroic older brother. “Cursed at birth,” some said. “Proof of his father’s blasphemous defiling,” said others.
And so, Hector is taken far away from the city to Proudfoot Manor, to be hidden from prying eyes. But life proved to be good here, where days could be spent untroubled by the bullying of the other boys, the intrusive scrutiny of the Brotherhood priests, and the murderous hatred of his insane father, the King, who blames Hector for the death of his beloved Queen.
But being a prince of Silverdell, Hector is forced to return to the city to carry out his royal duties, and this visit would prove more terrifying than he could ever imagine when a demon comes to play.
From that moment on, Hector is propelled into a world of ghostly apparitions, shadowy demons, bloodthirsty undead hunters, and an extremely dangerous little girl.
Hector must learn hard and fast in how to survive in this twisted and cursed world as he embarks on a mission to save his brother from a gruesome fate.
If you like heart-pounding adventure, epic fantasy worlds full of murder, scheming, and lies, and an underdog fighting against all that is thrown at him, then this is the tale for you....
